As the Jets prepare to face the Jaguars on Sunday, looking to win two in a row, let’s take a look at some questions you have in the Jets mailbag:
What’s the reason for the lack of reps for the young WR’s? What happens when [Jalin] Marshall comes back?

What’s the deal with Stewart? Is he injured? Why is he limited? Catching up on playbook? He seems to have good hands. #NYJets
You are correct about the young receivers getting less time last week. ArDarius Stewart only played five snaps and Chad Hansen was inactive. I think it is simply because the Jets feel Jeremy Kerley is a more complete receiver than either of the rookies right now.
Watching the tape, Stewart had one blocking issue when he was in the game. That could be the reason behind his lack of playing time. If you can’t block, it is hard to stay on the field. He did have one beautiful catch while in the game.
Hansen seemed like more of a project than Stewart from the beginning. Stewart also has a special teams role so he is going to have the edge between them.
It will be interesting to see what role Jalin Marshall has when he returns next week. He had a really nice training camp. They lost Charone Peake to a high-ankle sprain last week, so they are down a man at the position. I would not be shocked if Marshall worked his way into a lot of playing time as the season goes on. He will be rusty at first and probably won’t play much at the beginning, but keep an eye on his time as the season goes on.
Chances we Fire Bowles/Macc, lure Harbaugh out of college and let him have a big say in next GM? #gogetharbaugh
Chances? Slim, very slim. I think Harbaugh is happy at Michigan, where he is basically the king. Why would he want to come back to the NFL? I suppose the Jets could throw a ton of cash his way, but I don’t see that happening. The Jets expressed interest in 2015 and he went to Michigan. I don’t see him leaving for the NFL.

How much of the big improvement in defense vs Dolphins was due to poor play by Miami? Will defense revert back to level of games 1 & 2?
It is a great question of how much last week had to do with Miami not showing up and how much had to do with the Jets playing well. I think it was a combination of both. My guess is the defense takes a step back this week but not all the way back to where it was in Oakland. Jacksonville has a good rushing attack with Leonard Fournette and Chris Ivory. Those guys will gain yards, but I don’t think it will be close to 200 rushing yards like the first two weeks of the season.

Like [Elijah] McGuire. Do you see him as a feature back in this league?
It’s impossible to say that right now. McGuire has looked good in small doses. His only mistake was a fumble last week. Let him develop, and then we’ll see what he can become.
Do you think it’s worth it for [Sam] Darnold to come out of college after his sophomore year? History says no. Look at [Mark] Sanchez. What’s your take?
If he is told he is a first-round pick (and he is), he should wave goodbye to Southern Cal. Why risk going back to school for another year and potential injury? An NFL payday awaits. Say whatever you want about Sanchez’s career. You can’t knock his decision to go pro. He has made $74 million in his career.

When will we see Christian Hackenberg start a game?
I think it will be later than we expected because of how McCown is playing. I’ll go with December.
Which big time contributor from last week’s win is most likely to duplicate their star performance this week and beyond? Who’s least likely?
Most likely – Jamal Adams
Least likely – Terrence Brooks
