Jose Mourinho’s side are sponsored by American car company Chevrolet, who believe the world’s most expensive player would help their profile in Europe and Asia if he were to be signed by the Old Trafford side, and as such are ready to fund a mammoth move for him.
The Portuguese, meanwhile, is said to be “more than happy” with the idea, but Real Madrid are also hovering.
